Gemini CLI in the open: learning from real issues, tradeoffs, and active pull requests

I came across an interesting discussion in the Gemini CLI repository today. The maintainers are clearly outlining where support is needed and encouraging contributors to pick up help wanted issues.
If you want to understand the real challenges the project is facing and how pull requests are actively addressing them, it is worth browsing through the issues and ongoing PRs. You get direct insight into decision making, tradeoffs, and how production grade tools evolve in the open.
It is a solid learning opportunity just by reading and following the conversations.
